The purpose of the Information Technology Governance Committee (ITGC) is to facilitate the development of the Information Technology infrastructures, resources, and applications. The ITGC is a representative body with members from many departments. This committee will help develop IT plans and policies, prioritize IT projects, seek funding, and set processes in place for the orderly development and improvement of IT services aligned with campus needs and priorities. The ITGC will help set the direction for IT and will focus on what IT services and policy are needed by faculty, staff and students. IT staff will provide progress reports on the goals and projects outlined in the IT plan to this council at least quarterly.
